Not only are ropes and bumpers tough to store, but they’re challenging to work with. Fastening lines to steering wheels and tying into cleats or fenders that never seem to stay in place, is simply unreliable and unsafe, which is why The HookCups™ were invented.
The HookCups™ patent-pending design offers boaters a quick and safer way to connect their boats and float. The suction cup technology securely attaches to your boat while the multi-directional axis joint allows for free movement—keeping boats 18 inches apart even in rough water, wakes, and waves up to 3 feet high. The spacer bar also eliminates exterior damage caused by bumpers rubbing against your boats or from boats from hitting each other.
In large wakes or rough water ropes can loosen, creating safety hazards and damage to boats. Bumpers and fenders are bulky, making them challenging to transport and position, thus often causing injury to the installer. Bumpers are also tough to secure and can rub against your boat causing damage to your exterior or gel coat. Although this has been the method to tie up for years, the team at HookCups™asked themselves “is there a better way?”
