The City of Quinte West is pleased to announce that Kathy Lammers has recently been hired as Manager of Marina and Waterfront Facilities. She will replace outgoing manager Craig Carter who has graciously agreed to stay on as Harbourmaster for the coming season to help with the transition.
Lammers has been based in Antigua for the past 25 years where she developed extensive marine industry experience. Her most recent posts included serving as Chairman of the Regatta Organizing Committee for Antigua Sailing Week and President of the Caribbean Sailing Association. Lammers has already started work at Trent Port Marina where she is responsible for management of the 374-slip marina and fueling station.
“It may seem unusual to move from the Caribbean to the City of Quinte West, especially at this time of year, but I am so impressed by the beautiful Trent Port Marina facility and its excellent reputation that I truly look forward to working with the Marina team to build on the success that has been achieved so far,” says Lammers. “I’m excited about contributing to the Marina and helping it reach its fullest potential.
