America's Boating Channel LIVE Previews National Safe Boating Week Episode Six Will Premiere on Wednesday Afternoon

"America’s Boating Channel™ LIVE" will preview the upcoming National Safe Boating Week (NSBW) in the video series Episode Six, which premieres this Wednesday May 13.
Also in Episode Six, viewers will glimpse future Vessel Safe Checks (VSCs) performed remotely using smartphone video cameras.
The weekly online magazine show, designed to help recreational boaters cope with sheltering in place continues its focus on personal safety, plus boating lifestyle tips on motion pictures, music, television programs, books, and puzzles.
The sixth episode of "America’s Boating Channel LIVE" will premiere Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 PM EDT on AmericasBoatingChannel.com and America's Boating Channel's YouTube channel.
The program will feature segments highlighting special NSBW 2020 activities planned by local America's Boating Clubs including television appearances, virtual hurricane preparedness seminars, and socially distanced VSCs.
The show will also preview an interactive online seminar on the Automatic Identification System (AIS).
Viewers will learn about how valuable subscriptions to "The Ensign" and "Compass" are benefits of joining United States Power Squadrons® - America's Boating Club® - and how to keep their sense of humor.
The show is not only for boaters, it's also by boaters, with volunteers from around the country serving remotely as segment contributors and on-camera talent.
Episode Six contributors include Mary Catherine Berube, Gary Cheney, Diane Corish, Megan Humphrey, Bo Ibach, Russ Kaiser, Cheryl Lowry, Jim Merker, Marie Murphy, Brevard Myers, Louie Ojeda, John O'Reilly, Brian Pinkston, Logan Pollock, Andy Sumberg, Holly Tompkins, Chuck Wells, and Jim Zeigler.
America’s Boating Channel videos are now enjoying increased viewership as Americans stay home to protect themselves and others from the COVID-19 pandemic. Screening boater education videos is an excellent way for boaters to prepare for safer experiences on the water.
The public launch of America’s Boating Channel’s fourth season of original boating safety videos is also set to begin this week. This year’s new titles include “Boater Education,” “Engine Shut-Off Devices,” “Life Jacket Care,” “Cold Weather Boating,” “Behavioral Consequences,” Introducing ATONS” (aids to navigation), “Dispelling BUI Myths“ (boating under the influence), “Life Jacket Labels,” and “Electric Shock Drowning (ESD).”
