What's on the Horizon at Offshore Sailing School?

What a busy year this has been. We’re hiring instructors and will provide expert training for experienced sailors. With more students clamoring for time on the water, learning new skills, and sharing adventures with family and new friends, we need more instructors to satisfy demand, both full-time and part-time/seasonal. As we move into our 59th year, we’ll continue doing what we do best. We’re still led and inspired by the world leaders in sailing education, Steve and Doris Colgate, both of whom have been inducted into the National Sailing Hall of Fame (Steve in Class of 2015; Doris in Class of 2022). The Colgates’ fascinating legacy story has been memorialized on the pages of OFFSHORE High, the biography written by author Herb McCormick and published in October 2021. Order it through OffshoreSailing.com, online booksellers, or wherever books are sold. It’s all about Grand Prix Racing, Big Business, and an Epic Love Story for the ages. Plenty of intrigue, celebrities, trips around the world, hard work, perseverance, and many of life’s lessons learned aboard and on land are shared. You won’t want to put it down!
We have wonderful sailing destinations to explore through our Colgate Sailing Adventures® hosted vacations in 2022-23. So far in 2022, we sailed in St. Martin, Antigua, Croatia, and Seychelles. We’ll be sailing in the British Virgin Islands in November 2022. In 2023, we’re sailing in The Abacos, the Bahamas in March 2023, and Thailand in April 2023, with more destinations being added soon. We invite all Offshore Sailing School graduates, guests, and experienced sailors to join us.
