US Sailing and the BoatUS Foundation Partner to Promote Online Learning!

US Sailing, the National Governing Body for the sport of sailing, and the BoatUS Foundation who aim to keep boating safe through reduced boating accidents and fatalities, and increase stewardship of our waterways, have joined together to provide unique online educational opportunities for their respective members.

During the month of June, BoatUS Foundation members will have the opportunity to take US Sailing’s Safety at Sea online courses at a discounted price to encourage safer boating on the waterways, while addressing safety equipment and maintenance, weather, crew overboard, emergency communications, and more.

The BoatUS Foundation is offering US Sailing members and program participants the opportunity to enhance their skills through online courses in GPS Navigation; AIS Electronics; and Planning a Cruise. All three of these online courses were developed in conjunction with America’s Boating Club.
