Two Women from Kyle Media, Inc. Selected to Boating Industry Magazine’s ‘Women Making Waves’ List

Melanie Kyle, Director of Operations for the Marine Ad Network, and Savannah Hess, Editor of Great Lakes Scuttlebutt magazine, have been named to the 2020 list of ‘Women Making Waves’ as selected by Boating Industry Magazine.

Among nearly 100 nominations this year, the recognition is intended to highlight 25 women in the marine industry that “have made and continue to make great contributions to its success, propel its growth and lead their organizations and peers into the future.”

“Businesses have certainly become more open to exploring new technology since the Marine Ad Network started,” said Melanie. “I’m proud that my work in digital marketing has allowed many other marine businesses to experience the success I knew they would have, and it is an unexpected and great honor to be recognized by my industry peers.”

“It’s amazing and humbling to appear alongside such impressive female figures in the industry,” said Savannah, “and the list does well to show a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience. As the industry pushes to bring boating to a wider, younger audience, the ‘Women Making Waves’ list is a powerful message to any woman that has an interest in the marine world: You are welcome, you are not alone, and you’ll do well here.”
