Own a boat? Looking for a boat? Wanting to upgrade your boat? Dreaming of one day owning a boat? Well, you have come to the right place by visiting the winter boat shows. There is no better opportunity to check out all the different styles of boats in one place.
During your boat search, are you considering the purchase of a new boat trailer? If you haven’t yet, maybe you should! A lot of boaters choose to rack store their boats instead of owning a trailer, especially a lot of people that live in states with a warm climate most of the year. My thought is, why limit yourself? Why be stuck to boating in one location? What will you do if a storm hits and you want to move your boat out of harm’s way? What if your boat needs some service, repairs, or upgrades to it? How about the idea of filling up your fuel tank on land and saving a ton of money on fuel? Furthermore, not being at the mercy of a marina to put your boat in and take it out on their schedule within their hours can be quite liberating.

Part of the beauty of auto manufacturers building larger, stronger trucks these days is that they can now tow larger, heavier boats. Custom boat trailer manufacturers like us are able to build strong, trustworthy, road legal trailers for quite heavy boats, allowing our customers the versatility to travel and explore wherever they would like and not limit themselves to a sole location.
We build many trailers for a handful of custom, quality, high end boat manufacturers who specialize in 30’ and larger boats. Their sales staff truly believes in the value our trailers can offer their clients. They can trust the boats are safely supported while also feeling proud that their clientele are free to use their new boats in any destination they choose.
Of course, there are limits to what you can tow with and without permits. Often our customers are surprised to learn how simple it really is to obtain the proper permits when necessary to tow their boats, thanks to a few different companies/organizations that handle all of it for them. We are able to design the trailers to allow for flag holders, strobe lights, and other necessary features. Also, we try our best to customize the design to keep the boats as low as safely possible on our trailers to help reduce overall height when necessary. Similarly, when we have customers who have tight storage restrictions, we work with them to design a trailer that allows them to fit the boat and trailer into their garage or storage facility, sometimes when they did not even think it was possible.
My advice to you is to take control of your leisure time that most of us hold so sacred. You choose when you go boating. You choose where you go boating. You choose who gets to do the work on your boat. You choose how much you pay for fuel and service. You choose. It is a liberating, freeing feeling to know you have the option to boat whenever and wherever you want. Boats are incredible investments in family time and for sports enthusiasts, or sailing experts.
Be sure to utilize all options available to you to ensure you are able to truly enjoy your passion for being on the water!
