The MJM 53zi®

A Highly Fuel Efficient Powerboat

Published: Thursday, April 1, 2021

You may need a bigger boat, but that doesn’t mean you have to compromise driving it like a sports car. This triple IPS 53zi outperformed the Sabre 48, Hinckley Talaria 48 and East Bay 50 by 10 knots, with the same 50-gph fuel burn at 35 knots that others got at 25 knots. All the while keeping MJM’s signature profile, flush decks with side doors, Seakeeper no-roll comfort and so much more. Go the distance with fuel-efficient cruising inboards—ideal for the liveaboard owner/operator.

Underway

The MJM 53zi is responsive to the lightest touch on the wheel and the underbody shape allows the boat to ride atop the rough stuff providing a soft, stable ride while the subtle Carolina blow flare keeps it dry.

At the Dock

On the bridgedeck, which can be fully enclosed and temperature-controlled, or open to the aft deck under a full protective bimini, you can seat 12 with room for another eight aft.

MJM Yachts are world-renowned for their timeless style, high-tech construction, and superior materials. With an all-weather pilothouse and exceptional stability, MJMs are destined for adventure. Designed for the owner/operator with liveaboard comfort, ease of maintenance, 360-degree visibility, and one-level accessibility, this is a luxury performance yacht built for lifetimes of enjoyment. Built in the U.S.A.
