Snag-A-Slip Launches Mobile Apps and Robust Rewards Program
Published: Friday, August 25, 2017
Snag-A-Slip, an online boat slip reservation company, today announced the launch of its apps for iOS and Android mobile devices. The new apps cement the company’s dedication to mobile development and improving the customer experience while on the water. In addition to its mobile app launch, Snag-A-Slip today also rolled out its Dozen Dock ChallengeTM Rewards Program, which offers boaters one free night for every 12 nights booked.
“It’s a great day at Snag-A-Slip when we announce new features for our boaters,” said Paige Holden, Vice President of Marketing. “Snag-A-Slip’s mission is to inspire boaters to explore the waterways and experience new destinations. Now, not only can boaters reserve slips more easily with our mobile apps, but they can also dock more, while spending less, with our rewards.”
The brand-new Dozen Dock Challenge Rewards Program is the first of its kind in the slip reservation industry, and illustrates Snag-A-Slip’s commitment to delighting its users with fun, simple and attainable rewards. Boaters who create an account will be automatically enrolled in the Dozen Dock Challenge. Once a user books 12 nights’ worth of slips, Snag-A-Slip will issue a free night reward, which is a credit calculated based on the average cost of the previous 12 nights. Users will be able to track their progress towards a free night in their account section and via the website and, soon, mobile apps. There are no restrictions or blackout dates for free nights earned.
Mobile app users will enjoy the same functionality as the current website, which allows boaters to explore marinas by region, city or marina name - and then search for slip availability based on travel dates, length, beam, draw and power requirements. Boaters can pick their preferred marina based on amenities, location and availability and book immediately with any credit card. Users will also be able to review past and future trips, and track their progress towards earning rewards.
There is no fee to download the mobile app, or book boat slips at any of the company’s 500 marina partners from Canada to the Caribbean. In addition to its no-fee model, Snag-A-Slip also offers a price match guarantee to ensure its boaters pay the marina’s published rates, or less.
Snag-A-Slip is a Baltimore-based company that connects boaters with available slips, while also showcasing marinas in the same way that hotels are promoted. The mobile-responsive website and apps allow boaters to explore marinas by region, city or marina name and then search for slip availability based on travel dates, length, beam, draw and power requirements. Boaters can pick their preferred marina based on amenities, location and availability and book immediately with any credit card. There are no booking fees associated with the service, which is now available from Canada through the Caribbean.
