Rooster Nation – whose name is born from the “rooster tail” sprayed across the water behind skis, a wakeboard or a boat – is a premium clothing brand founded in the Midwest by brothers-in-law Ryan Christopherson and Mike Caudill. With a shared love of the water, both Mike and Ryan brought Rooster Nation to life after a weekend on Old Hickory Lake, just outside of Nashville. The two were watching boats roll by and every time a boat passed, their kids would shout out: “Rooooster!” It then dawned on Ryan and Mike that there were no authentic, premium lifestyle brands that were focused on Midwest lake life.

“When Mike and I began brainstorming what we wanted Rooster Nation to be, we knew we had to fuse together life on the water and our need for quality apparel that didn’t lack in style,” said Ryan Christopherson, co-founder and owner of Rooster Nation. “From summers spent on the lakes boating, to fishing trips with our kids, to surf sessions in between workdays, our souls are rooted in the glassy, peaceful moments found on the water.
