Riding the Boating Wave… Grand Rapids Boat Show Returns to DeVos Place February 17-21, 2021

Published: Monday, December 28, 2020

After a banner year in sales, the Grand Rapids Boat Show – the state’s longest running consumer show – is gearing up for a repeat performance, February 17-21. Here in Michigan, boating is a BIG deal in terms of sales of new powerboats, outboard engines, trailers and accessories; boating activities, tourism and marinas; and even boater registration. In fact, Michigan ranks #3 in the nation in all these categories – but that makes sense, given we are the Great Lakes State!

More than 35 dealers will be on hand for the 76th Annual Grand Rapids Boat Show. Featuring the latest and greatest, these dealers are ready to tackle pent-up demand on every type of boat – aluminum fishing boats and personal watercrafts, pro style ski and bass boats, luxury pontoons, runabouts, deck boats, kayaks and SUP boards, luxury cruisers and so much more. As many as 400 boats will be on display throughout DeVos Place and the Steelcase Ballroom – with over 250,000 square feet (5 acres) from 100 manufacturers like Cruisers, Tiara, Powerquest, Robalo, Scout, Boston Whaler, Yellowfin, Cobalt, Four Winns, Tiara and Regal Yachts, among others.

Special features return to this five-day event, like the wooden boat display from the Water Wonderland Chapter of Antique & Classic Boat Society, the HO Sports Tubers Truckload sale, appearances by pro wakeboarders and wakesurfers, the Lake Life Boutique featuring beach and boating wear from Tommy’s Walloon Outlet, fare from the Key West Crab Shack with trop-rock music from Don Middlebrook, the Great Lakes Dive Locker’s SCUBA Dive Tank, and more.

Make plans now to attend this premier event, February 17-21. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children aged 6 to 14 with kids 5 and under admitted free. For more, visit GRBoatShow.com.
