NAUTIC-ON Features Complement Marina Amenities

Published: Wednesday, October 3, 2018

Many marinas offer a variety of amenities to give their customers the best docking and boating experience possible. From security measures to basic system checks to onsite service teams, marinas are able to give their boaters peace of mind that their vessels are taken care of.

The NAUTIC-ON(TM) Smart Boating System enhances many marina perks. Designed to work on any boat with a battery, the remote monitoring system allows you to stay connected to your boat after hours or when you’re not at the marina.

Security

If you dock your boat at a marina, your boat is most likely monitored by marina staff. In addition to these measures, NAUTIC-ON can add another level of security via the location features, including Geofence and tracking. Set a boundary around your boat when it’s stationary, at the dock, or anchored. When the vessel moves outside the adjustable Geofence, the NAUTIC-ON app will alert you. The newest feature added to the NAUTIC-ON system is trip tracking, which allows boaters to see their recent routes, tops speeds, and distance.

Systems

Marinas may provide periodic system checks, to ensure your boat is ready to go when you get there. With the NAUTIC-ON onboard system installed, boaters can remotely check in on their vessels 24/7, monitoring bilge pump activity, engine status, and battery life. Boaters can access live diagnostic data anytime, and get real-time updates as often as you want, not just the one time when marina staff does rounds. Knowing the status of your boat’s key systems prepares you for what to expect when you get to the marina.

Service

Potentially the best perk of a marina is the access to convenient services, which can include regular boat maintenance and/or necessary repairs. NAUTIC-ON allows boaters to stay ahead of issues, before they become big problems. Marina service teams can be authorized access by the boater to view the vessel’s systems and fault codes, including a historical log to allow the technicians to better diagnosis and take care of the problem at hand.

The NAUTIC-ON Smart Boating System provides remote access to your boat, including location and key systems information. Worry less about your boat and know it’s ready to go when you get to the marina. To learn more about NAUTIC-ON, visit www.nautic-on.com.
