Manitowoc Marina, LLC Selected as New Axopar Boats Dealer

Manitowoc Marina, LLC, the operator of Manitowoc Marina in Manitowoc, WI, and Nestegg Marine in Marinette, WI is pleased to announce they have been selected to represent Axopar Boats. Axopar was founded in 2014 in Finland, on the concept of providing well-made, competitively priced boats, that are immediately recognizable with their distinctive looks and are uniquely fun to drive. Since then, the company has sold over 1,700 boats across 6 continents. The company has been recognized with many awards, including European Powerboat of the Year, Boat Builder Award, and Motor Boat of the Year.
Rich Larsen, President of Manitowoc Marina, LLC, initially heard of Axopar several years ago while visiting his cousin’s marine dealership in Finland, also an Axopar dealer. Now a dealer himself, Rich said, “I could not be more thrilled to introduce such an innovative and exciting boat to Lake Michigan. Having lived in Finland for part of my life, and now living on Lake Michigan, both places are core to my identity. Manitowoc Marina plans to debut the Axopar 28 Cabin and Axopar 28 T-Top to Lake Michigan at the Chicago Yacht Club Power & Sail In-Water Tech Show (May 29-30), the Lake Michigan In-Water Boat Show (June 12-14), and the Bay Harbor In-Water Boat Show (June 19-21). There will also be a debut event on May 23 in Door County, WI.
Both models will include Axopar’s signature Brabus trim package, which features upleveled luxury finishes throughout the boat from the world-renowned
