Lunasea Lighting’s New Water Safety Device Provides Higher Level of Safety for Children and Pets

Every year in the United States there are an estimated 3,960 fatal, unintentional child drownings and an estimated 5,000 pet drownings, including boating-related drowning.
This complete safety system incorporates features other devices simply don’t offer, allowing for increased convenience and, most importantly, greater peace of mind. It is ideal for use aboard boats, at the marina, when camping by the lake or stream, or even poolside.
Many manufacturers offer strobe devices that are helpful in locating a child or pet that falls overboard. While those devices are functional, they don’t easily alert the monitoring person when this occurs. If you’re not aware that the child or pet has fallen into the water, it may be too late to even look for the strobe and perform a rescue.
Lunasafe water activated alarm is a compact, portable RF water safety device designed for anyone who realizes the potential danger of drowning while enjoying activities on the water. The ultra-small, water-activated strobe/transmitter easily attaches to a child’s wrist, pets’ collar, or boating lifejacket. The small receiver alarm can be placed on a table or easily fits in your pocket and can be used by anyone.
Lunasafe’s water-activated strobe transmitter sends a signal to the compact receiver, which produces a loud alarm and visual strobe. Powered by a lithium polymer battery, rechargeable via any QI wireless charger, both the transmitter and receiver are waterproof allowing for outdoor use, in rain, including areas where there are waves or water activity. The transmitter can pulsate color LED light for visual monitoring that will automatically switch to strobe when water-activated, allowing you to keep tabs on your child or pet. Our white strobe features a super-bright LED that outperforms similar strobes on the market. Proprietary transmitter programming delivers two hours of LED monitoring, when desired, and enough power remaining for 8+ hours of strobe mode.
No cell service necessary. Receiver battery life, in the listen mode, is approximately 6 days taking the constant worry out of recharging. The transmit alarm signal is capable of transmitting at least 250 feet to the receiver (line of sight).
