Leveraging its revolutionary inspired design, Sea Ray® has reinvented an icon, kicking off a new era of delivering perfectly crafted moments on the water. Earlier this year, Sea Ray celebrated the 45th anniversary of the Sundancer Series with the launch of the brand-new Sundancer 370 Outboard. An embodiment of elegance, athleticism, and sophistication, the award-winning model is leading the evolution of the Sundancer line while setting a new standard in luxury sport cruisers. It’s also the first boat to embody Sea Ray’s new design language, established to help guide the future of its designs.
How do you craft a first-of-its-kind boat while staying true to the distinctive Sea Ray style that boaters know and love? To determine a solution, the Sea Ray design team got creative. They started by collaborating with BMW’s Designworks to produce a fresh set of principles to guide the design of every new Sea Ray model. The goal was to reimagine the core characteristics of the brand while keeping the essence of Sea Ray intact. Built from bow to stern with new design language, the Sundancer 370 Outboard is the inaugural vessel to represent the new aesthetics. You’ll instantly recognize Signature Sea Ray design elements integrated throughout the boat like the familiar hull curve, dynamic center crease, elegant profile, and integrated Sea Ray badge.
A fusion of performance and beauty, the Sundancer 370 Outboard is a cruiser, bowrider, and coupe combined into one versatile vessel. Every inch of the boat has been carefully considered to maximize space and function. Open or enclosed coupe configurations are available along with an optional electrically actuated opening panoramic skylight. Sunshade options for the bow and cockpit provide protection from the sun and can be removed when it’s time to go. The port-side walkthrough with a gas-assisted door makes accessing the bow, as well as moving from one social area to another, effortless. Storage is optimized with 66 cubic feet of space, including the custom transom Stow and Go Fender Storage, to safely stow fenders, lines, and accessories.
Spaces aboard the Sundancer 370 Outboard are built to make sharing adventures with friends and family members seamless and fun. Multiple social zones throughout the vessel have been expertly crafted for comfort and conversation, whether you plan to enjoy a weekend getaway with the kids or romantic couples’ night out. The U-shaped cockpit is ideal for entertaining and serving refreshments with a wet bar and upgrades like an electric Kenyon grill, refrigerator, and teak tables. For added flexibility at the bow, a teak table or filler cushion can be added to create a dining area or a spacious sun lounge. At the transom, the convertible seat easily transitions from a hard-back surface to an aft-facing seat. A filler cushion is also available to extend the seat to a relaxing sunpad.
Below in the luxuriously appointed cabin, you’re greeted with inviting amenities that present an oasis-like retreat on the water. Chic yet friendly design elements add interest while hull-side windows and a skylight welcome in natural light. The forward V-berth lounge area with a plush L-shaped couch and smart TV offers a spot to cozy up for a movie or sporting event. Kids will love hanging out or gaming in the mid-berth with U-shaped seating and optional smart TV. The galley includes a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and solid-surface countertop to prepare snacks and meals. The spacious head is equipped with a separate shower, vessel sink and spa-like finishes. When it’s time for bed, the L-shaped couch converts into a sleeper for two, and the U-shaped seating features fill-in cushions to form a sleeper for two.
In addition to its sleek exterior and enticing interior, the Sundancer 370 Outboard is outfitted with a host of next-generation technologies. It’s propelled by powerful triple Mercury® 300 Verado® outboard engines with Joystick Piloting and SmartCraft® Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS). For superior performance, it offers Active Trim control & monitoring and optional Dynamic Running Surface™. The helm is equipped with a Digital Dash™ for confident command featuring dual 12″ Simrad® GO12 touchscreen displays or optional dual 16” Simrad NSO evo3 touchscreen displays. Other highlights include Mercury Marine® VesselView® Mobile, CZone® digital switching, and a Fusion® audio system with an Apollo RA770 touchscreen display. The boat can also be upgraded with electronics like a Simrad HALO24 radar, Seakeeper® 3 gyroscope stabilizer, 1st Mate™ Marine Safety & Security System, and an LED RGB-W color-changing lighting package.
To further enhance the boating experience aboard the Sundancer 370 Outboard, Sea Ray just released the Sea Ray+ mobile app. Owners can download the app to access features such as real-time GPS tracking, onboard system monitoring, documentation storage, boating checklists, weather information, and FAQs.
