The DNR's Lake Superior Fisheries Management Team has finalized updated reports based on 2021 surveys and uploaded them onto our Lake Superior Management Reports webpage. We reported survey results from five different surveys conducted on the R/V Hack Noyes throughout Lake Superior and Chequamegon Bay, updated the creel reports with sport harvest estimates from 2021, and updated the commercial harvest report.
Other recent reports are also catalogued on this webpage including Brule River steelhead updates, Chequamegon Bay Smallmouth Bass, and other nearshore surveys in Chequamegon Bay.

If you have any questions about the survey results, don’t hesitate to ask Dray Carl, Lake Superior Fisheries Biologist ([email protected]; 715-331-9036). Also, if there is any other information you’d like to see in the future, please let us know.
Lake Trout sport harvest numbers have also been updated through the end of the recent ice season, and you can view these on the Lake Superior Lake Trout Harvest webpage. We will continue to update the Lake Trout harvest numbers more frequently as harvest increases in the upcoming summer months.
