After transforming the way boaters reserve short-term dock space, Downtown Docks is entering its next chapter with a new name: GoDock. Alongside the rebrand, the company is launching a completely redesigned website, a new mobile app, and powerful platform enhancements that give waterfront businesses greater flexibility and control in managing dock reservations, all available nationwide.

Co-Founders Ron Silvia and Caroline Winter originally developed the platform in 2015, when they couldn't find software capable of handling hourly dock reservations. Their custom system allowed them to expand from operating two docks to four while accommodating between 300 and 500 boats each week. Since then, GoDock has evolved into a comprehensive dock management platform serving waterfront restaurants, marinas, municipalities, and dock operators nationwide. The new brand reflects the company's broader vision to make short-term dock reservations simple and accessible for both operators and boaters.

Among the platform's newest enhancements is the introduction of dynamic pricing, allowing operators to automatically adjust dock rates based on demand, time of day, special events, and other custom criteria. The updated platform also includes advanced reporting, new customization abilities and streamlined dock management, giving operators unprecedented control over how they manage and monetize their dock space.

The launch also includes the debut of the GoDock Mobile App, giving boaters an even more seamless way to search for available dockage, reserve slips on demand, and manage bookings directly from their phones while on the water.

"Our goal has always been to remove the challenges of finding and managing dock space, so people can focus on enjoying their time out on the water," said Co-Founder Ron Silvia. "GoDock represents everything we've learned over the last decade and positions us to continue building the most intuitive, flexible dock reservation platform available. Our system allows both boaters and venues to plan and have the ability to secure dockage in blocks of time so they know when they show up to a waterfront location they have a place to tie up that is ready for their arrival."

Today, GoDock enables operators to create customized dock profiles, manage availability, establish operating hours and reservation rules, and automate the booking experience. The platform remains free for dock operators, with a small customer booking fee covering operational costs. Searchable listings and QR code-enabled signage continue to make reserving dock space fast and effortless for boaters.

The new GoDock platform is available anywhere users have internet access, with the mobile app providing an even more convenient on-the-water experience. To learn more about the platform, explore its new features, or become a GoDock operator, visit www.godock.app
