Illinois Performance Boats is the Illinois dealer for Fountain and Donzi boats. Located at Crowley’s Yacht Yard at the south end of Lake Michigan, they cover the sales needs for all of Chicagoland.
Fountain, the legendary performance boats designed by the renowned Reggie Fountain, have transitioned to center consoles with outboards. Some have a cabin with beds, full galleys, and separate stand up heads. All models have stepped hulls and can attain speeds over 80mph. A few models can reach almost 100mph, and the ride is incredibly soft at these speeds. Fountains are built to exceptionally high standards and you can notice it immediately upon boarding. With models from 34’ to 43’, each boat is individually customized, with 30 to 50 options to choose from. The painting options are extensive—from a single conservative color to eye catching designs, like the one pictured.
Donzis are a classic, fast, single engine, jaw dropping speed boat. They have been around for over 50 years and continue to turn heads. Engine choices range from 350 HP to 565 HP.
Sales, service, and storage are all located at Crowley’s Yacht Yard Lakeside, LLC. Their mechanics are trained on the Merc 450HP Racing engines and provide all warranty service. The boats, on their trailers, can be stored inside during the winter and kept inside for the summer, allowing easy in/out usage.
Illinois Performance Boats has multiple boats on order for delivery next year (2022) and will have the Fountain 43NX and the Donzi 22 Classic on display at the Chicago Boat Show in January 2022.
