Growing up on the coastal waters of British Columbia and working within the family business, Steve’s marine experience through YachtingBC—along with the decade spent running one of BC’s busiest and highest service level transient marinas—should make a formidable pair with Derek Mader’s long successful history in the yacht brokerage industry.
Designed by Steve and his wife, Jessica, North Island Marina was to be a unique and highly bespoke experience in a very remote, yet busy, part of the cruising world on the Northeast coast of Vancouver Island. Catering to yachts up to 285 feet, Steve put the focus on client experience and convenience with their in-house-designed in-berth fueling system and by offering services to caretake yachts in the owner’s absence and build custom cruising itineraries for any guest requiring assistance.
As the Inside Passage is one of the most pristine, diverse, and beautiful cruising destinations in the world entertaining both domestic and international clientele, the global network from Steve’s experience will be a solid addition to the existing network and international business acumen of Executive Yacht.
