In July 2020, KAM Yacht Sales announced their acquisition of Luke Brown Yachts, a company known for their multifaceted service offerings, including exclusive listings, charters, and the representation of clients seeking to build custom yachts.
Before the acquisition, KAM Yacht Sales and KAM Marine owned and operated three marinas and boatyards in Detroit and Northport, MI. The purchase of Luke Brown Yachts expanded the company's reach of the marine industry to the East Coast. Together, locations can be found throughout Michigan, Florida, Rhode Island, Ohio, New York, and the Bahamas—creating a team of over 25 brokers.
The new team at Luke Brown includes KAM Yacht Sales’ Daniel Stern as President, Nichole Sleiman as Vice President of Business Operations, and Max Brochert as Vice President and Sales Manager. Former president and vice president, Andrew Cilla and Jason Dunbar respectively, continue to operate as part of the valued Luke Brown Yachts’ team.
Since the acquisition, KAM Yacht Sales and Luke Brown Yachts have also merged with the luxury charter company Nicholson Yachts to continue to add to their expertise. Nicholson Yachts’ services embrace everything from yacht charting, charter management, and crew placement to sales. Their worldwide team of discerning professionals has years of experience and firsthand knowledge of today’s yachting industry.
