2019 Antique & Classic Boat Shows

June 1: Spring Lake, MI
16th annual Spring Lake Wooden Boat Show at Mill Point Park. In-water and Park setting displays. Ramp on site. Featured boats this year are the ‘lapstrake’ style (also known as clinker built) from all manufacturers, both wood and fiberglass. Also a huge display of antique outboard motors by the Wolverine Chapter of the AOMC, the Antique Tractor Club and Vintage Bicycles.

June 14-15: Presque Isle, MI
26th annual Presque Isle Wooden Boat Show at Presque Isle Harbor on Lake Huron. Friday is a picnic lunch and boat participant tour; Sat. show, 10am-4pm. June 15: South Haven, MI
38th annual Antique & Classic Boat Show celebrates all kinds of boat types from wood and fiberglass to power and paddle, and is one of the oldest and most popular of its kind in the region. The family-friendly event features a variety of boats including Chris-Crafts, Centuries, strip-built boats, dinghies, canoes, sailboats, and much more! June 21-23: Algonac, MI

June 22: Portage Lakes, OH
44th annual boat show at the Harbor Front Grille and Pick’s restaurants, 9am-3pm, rain or shine. After, cruise the Portage Lakes and to the Awards Banquet at the historic Turkeyfoot Island Club at 5:30. The theme for this year’s show is “Celebrating All Outboard Boats and Motors”. July 6: Gravenhurst, Ont.
39th annual Antique & Classic Boat Show at the Muskoka Wharf sponsored by ACBS–Toronto. “Aged to Perfection” will be a celebration of 100-year-old boats. Pre- and post-events July 3-7. See more than 100 boats of all makes and models displayed on land and in water, ield of Dreams, flea market, vendors, and much more. Show admission includes FREE admission to the Muskoka Discovery Centre along with discounted cruises aboard the “Wenonah II”. July 12-14: Alexandria Bay, NY
41st annual “User” Boat Show hosted by the ACBS 1000 Islands Chapter. Boat show kicks off on Friday at the Kick-off Party at Boldt Yacht House at 6:30pm; Saturday is the boat show at Upper James Street Docks, 8am-4pm; Sunday: Awards brunch at Riveredge Resort, 10am. July 13: East Jordan, MI
South Arm Classics is a combined event of classic boats and cars. The boat show is on the shore of Lake Charlevoix, with both land and water displays along with a vintage outboard collection. The classic car show on Main Street displays up to 150 classic cars lining the streets. This combined event will also host a microbrew tent and musical entertainment. July 13: Fox Lake, IL
35th annual Antique & Classic In-Water Boat Show at Famous Freddie’s on Pistakee Lake. Hosted by the Blackhawk ACBS Chapter. A Waterway Permit Sticker is required; it can be purchased at Watts Marina. Show at 9am-2pm, awards presented dockside at 1:30. Western BBQ Buffet at 2pm at Famous Freddie’s. July 13: Lexington, MI
The 3rd annual Boat Show in Lexington, Michigan. This will be a no stress relaxing day where you can dock at the convenient floating docks and spend the day exploring the harbor and town. It is not a judged show and some awards will be given. There will be a coupon for a lunch at one of the restaurants in your registration packet. Info at www.michacbs.com/lexington-boat-show. July 14: Cheboygan, MI

July 20: Whitehall, MI
From classic cars to classic wood, fiberglass, and metal boats, The White Lake Classic Boat and Car Show offers spectators so much to see! A pancake breakfast is available from the Northside Lions and lunch from the North Muskegon VFW. Spectator entry is free. Registration is $10 starting at 7 a.m. and continuing to 11a.m. Classic wood, fiberglass and metal boats built in 1994 and earlier are welcome, as well as classic cars built 1980 or earlier. There will be awards in 4 categories for boats, 7 categories for cars and Best of Show for each. Event is 9am-3pm and is held at Goodrich Park at 100 N Lake Street, Whitehall, MI. July 21: Lakeside, OH
The 16th annual Lakeside Wooden Boat Show & Plein Air Art Festival will take place from 12pm-4pm. Lakeside is located halfway between Cleveland and Toledo on the Lake Erie shore. The boat show and art festival features more than 80 wooden boats from across the region, as well as plein air artists and one-of-a-kind paintings, live music and food. July 26-28: Skaneateles, NY
41st annual Finger Lakes Chapter Antique & Classic Boat Show. Located in Clift Park on Skaneateles Lake. Antique and classic boats are on display both in water and on land. August 2-4: Clayton, NY
The Antique Boat Museum hosts the 55th annual Antique Boat Show & Auction. Check-in Thursday; show opens 9am-5pm Friday & Saturday, and 9am-1pm on Sunday. Boat auction at 1pm on Saturday. Contact: www.abm.org or (315) 686-4104.

August 2-4: Huron, OH
20th annual All Classics Festival at Huron Municipal Marina. Boat show on Saturday 9am-5pm. Classic boats and vintage cars of all makes, styles, and sizes. Saturday evening concert. August 3: Traverse City, MI

August 10-11: Sturgeon Bay, WI
Held during Maritime Week, the Door County Classic and Wooden Boat Festival is an event you won’t want to miss. View beautiful classic and wooden boats, nautical displays, Boathouse Sale, and the concessions tent. There will also be kids’ activities and to top it all off, you’ll get to visit the Door County Maritime Museum. Cheer on the two-person teams competing in the Sikaflex Boatbuilding Challenge and race – it’s always interesting to see if their creations actually float. They build on Saturday and race on Sunday. August 10: Hessel, MI
42nd annual Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show and Festival of Arts, 10am-5pm. Awards 4pm. Restored boats dating back to the early 1900s are registered and displayed in the water in this very unique show. 12 years to Adult: $8; Children under 12: free. August 16-17: Port Sanilac, MI
11th annual Port Sanilac Boat Show at Port Sanilac Harbor. Boaters and campers will start arriving early Aug. 15. Saturday classic boats, cars, Live music, and vendors will be there to join the festivities. The event also includes “Tin Can Tourist” classic travel trailer club and Saturday car show ending with a sock hop at 7pm. Registration forms at www.michacbs.com. August 23-24: Bar Harbor, MN
The 11th annual Gull Lake Classic Boat Show will be held at Bar Harbor on beautiful Gull Lake — now an official and featured club event, and well worth the trip. This show attracts some of the most beautiful and rare antique and classic boats, along with live music, breakfast, the Classic Boat Tour of Gull Lake, and a shoreline parade. August 23-24: Toledo, OH

August 24: Pentwater, MI
The Pentwater Yacht Club will hold its annual Wooden Boat Show on Pentwater Lake. The show is open to the public and a buffet lunch will be available from Noon-2pm. Boats will be on display from 10am-3pm. Boat exhibitor registration forms are available on the PYC website. The public may cast their vote for a People’s Choice Award, and Best in Show awards at 3pm. At 3:30pm, boat owners will form a boat parade touring Pentwater Lake followed by the Commodore’s review at 4pm. Contact: www.pentwateryachtclub.com or (231) 869-8921.

September 7: Buffalo, New York (Grand Island)
Come one, come all to the 41st Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show of the Niagara Frontier Chapter at the Buffalo Launch Club from 10am-4pm. Many shows have a “static nature”, but this show looks to be “user friendly”, not just “dunk-in and tie up!” This year, we are honoring our neighbors to our north by featuring “Boats Built in Canada” and Canadian boat builder Peter Breen. Set-up begins at noon on Friday, Sep 6, followed by a use your boat fun-run at 2pm and a participant reception at 5:30pm. Our awards dinner follows the boat show on Saturday evening. Participants staying until Sunday, Sep 8, can enjoy a fun run around Grand Island. Registration form will be available early spring at oldboatsbuffalo.org. September 8-14: Port Huron, MI
PLEASE NOTE: There will NOT be a boat show at Port Huron in 2019. Stay tuned for info on the new, bigger 2020 show.

September 16-22: Alexandria Bay, NY
Save the dates for the 2019 ACBS Annual Meeting and International Boat Show. Pre-events will be hosted by the 1000 Islands Chapter. Boat show is Fri., 9-5pm & Sat. 9-4pm The venue is on the beautiful and historic St. Lawrence River. www.acbs.org/2019-international-boat-show for more.

September 28-29: Fontana, WI
The Geneva Lakes Antique & Classic Boat Show is an annual event held in the Abbey Resort's harbor, presented by the Blackhawk Chapter of the ACBS. Classic and vintage boats from all over the country will be on display Saturday and Sunday; viewing is free to the public. A boat parade is also scheduled for Saturday.
