In case you missed it, the Cobo Center in Detroit is officially going by a new name.

RENDEZVOUS AT THE SHOW

Gather your boating friends at the Progressive Detroit Boat Show. Get a dose of summer in the middle of winter in Detroit, see the latest and greatest new model introductions, accessories, and gadgets, grab a cocktail at the Tiki or 80s Bar – but most of all HAVE FUN! The largest Rendezvous Group will win $1,000 towards their club. Bring your group to the Information Booth or Show Office to enter and get a group picture. One representative from the group will be the main contact for entry, and receive the prize if awarded. 

WIN $1,000 TO SPEND WITH AN EXHIBITOR AT THE SHOW

Visit the iPad kiosks at the Show Entrances or the Information Booth to enter to win $1,000 to spend with an exhibitor at the show! The winner will be drawn and notified by email during February, 2020.

Pirates, Captains, and Sailors – Oh My!

Learn about famous pirates, captains & sailors of the sea, both historical and non-fictional characters are included and interactive games will be fun for the whole family. Plus, snap a picture at the photo booth. Grab a prop, strike a pose, show the world the greatest captain of all… you!

More than 100 of Michigan’s best boat dealers and marine businesses under one roof for 9 days of great prices, selection, and services. Your chance to see new 2020 product, get great prices on new non-current boats, motors, trailers and accessories. Shop hundreds of fishing boats, pontoon boats, cruisers, ski boats wakeboard boats, inflatables and personal watercraft. Also get great prices on water toys, docks, decks, boat lifts, canvas, electronics, accessories and so much more!

See Michigan’s Largest Muskie!

Fishing enthusiasts – you don’t want to miss this replica of Michigan’s largest Muskie in recent history. Pulled from Lake St. Clair last year by Capt. Steve Jones and the Predator Fishing Team. See the replica of this nearly 45 pound, 52 inch long monster located in booth F15.

Official Boaters Safety Course at the Detroit Boat Show – FREE!

The course will be on Saturday, January 25, 2020. A free ticket to the show will be given to all who complete the course. Click here to register!

New Model Introductions

Don’t miss the exciting new boat manufacturer “New Model Introductions.” Dealers will have on display and for sale the latest and greatest 2020 model boats – all types, sizes and for every budget.

LIVE Stingray Encounter

Learn about these wondrous creatures at this interactive & educational exhibit open all show days. Knowledgeable educators will teach patrons all about stingrays. Patrons can touch and even feed the animals!

Career Days

High School and College Students, Attend Career Days at the Detroit Boat Show Monday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Jan. 24. Students will receive free entry into the show with a valid school ID. Download a ticket voucher here. Receive a map of stops within the show to learn more from industry professionals about Careers in the industry at a marina or boat dealership including marine technicians, sales, marketing, yard work, and so much more. KIDS ZONE – Weekends only

Find games, entertainment, face painting, and more. There will be a "make your own boat" craft and Aqua Hero and a Mermaid Princess will be in the Kids zone, too.


SHOW HOURS

Saturdays: 11am – 8pm
Sundays and Monday: 11am – 6pm
Tuesday through Friday: 3pm – 9pm

ADMISSION

General: $13.00
Children 12 & Under: FREE with an adult
Free admission (for 1) for all active military, police, and firefighters.

Special Admission Days
  • Monday, January 20: Senior Day – 65 and older free during show hours 11 am to 6 pm
  • Tuesday, January 21: Ladies Day – Ladies are free all day
  • Wednesday, January 22: A Boat Load of Food – Donate 5 cans of food to Gleaners Community Food Bank between 3 and 6 p.m. for free entry. (show open until 9 p.m.)
  • Thursday, January 23: Millennial’s Night Out – People 35 and younger are free during show hours from 3 – 9 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday, January 20-24: Career Days – During show hours, all students with a valid ID, high school or college, are admitted for free as well as their parents (if applicable)
