World Cat recently held its annual 2017 Sales Training December 4 - 6, 2017, at their headquarters in New Bern, North Carolina. The boatbuilder also incorporated its inaugural service training over the same multi-day period. Both programs ran simultaneously for dealer representatives who were in attendance.
“Our sales and service training programs are extensive, and produce knowledgeable program graduates from Boston to South Florida, Texas to Bermuda, and everywhere in between,” said World Cat CEO Andrew Brown. “We offer our dealer representatives an in-depth explanation of World Cat manufacturing processes, followed by an in-depth plant tour and product demonstrations. Our entire senior management is hands-on during these sessions.”
Presentations included selling the product, focusing on the unique aspects and benefits of the World Cat product and, as well as the overall benefits of a catamaran design, advanced technology utilized in the company’s newest “X” line, and C-Zone digital switching.
“Our training was remarkably successful,” said World Cat Distribution Manager Wyatt Lane. “We had tremendous positive feedback from our dealers. But beyond the product, these representatives got deeper insight into our local culture as well. Right down to the classic eastern North Carolina oyster roast we held for them.”
Headquartered in Tarboro, NC, World Cat manufactures outboard-powered center and dual console catamaran models ranging from 23’–32’ including several Glacier Bay Edition models.
