Guard is in its patented expanding frame system. The frame system begins with the side rails which are
made from 1/8 in. extruded aluminum with ¾ in. center bridging. Good luck EVER denting or bending
them. They are substantial. Don’t worry about banging into the dock because these rails are built to take
an impact. The side rails are the only components that attach to the boat. The expanding frame and
attached fabric then travel inside the side rails.
The expanding frame is made out of strong stainless steel and aluminum. The entire system weighs only
170 lbs. and does not restrict the use of the bimini top or rear entry. The Boat Guard is designed to
travel over and around a bimini in the down position. Operation of The Boat Guard is easy. The cover
can be opened and closed as fast as you can walk across your deck.
