Take A 10-Day Cruise On The Great Lakes!

Published: Thursday, June 27, 2019

Committed to small-ship cruising on the North American and Canadian coasts, Victory Cruise Lines is highlighting its first two itineraries since joining the American Queen Steamboat Company. Operated by the leader in U.S. river cruising, the 202-guest M/V Victory I and M/V Victory II cruises traverse all five Great Lakes plus Canadian waterways, and are a refreshing alternative to ocean cruising.

May marks the beginning of the Victory Cruise Lines season, starting with 10-day sailings on M/V Victory I between Toronto and Chicago and 10-day sailings on M/V Victory II between Montreal and Detroit. Both elegant small ships have been designed to cruise along magnificent coastlines, through scenic seaways and inland lakes, while navigating hidden harbors and more remote ports of call. Guests onboard will enjoy immersive and inclusive shore excursions in each port of call; exquisite multi-course fine dining with specialty and casual options including spirits, beer, and wine; onboard enrichment, evening entertainment, and WiFi in public areas.

“Our goal with Victory Cruise Lines is to deliver a small ship experience with the same authenticity and passion for service that exists with our luxurious riverboat fleet,” explains John Waggoner, chairman and CEO of American Queen Steamboat Company. “We look forward to bringing our award-winning experience to these northern waters and celebrating the beauty of this bountiful region.”

The M/V Victory I will set sail on the storied Georgian Bay with 10-day voyages departing on May 13, 22, 31; June 9, 27; August 11, 20, 29; and October 4, 13. Guests can admire the natural beauty of Niagara Falls and take in the breathtaking vistas of the Southern Canadian coast. Sailings will embark or disembark in Toronto with ports of call in Port Colborne, Niagara Falls; Cleveland, Ohio; Detroit; Sault Saint Marie, MI; Little Current, Manitoulin Island (Ontario, Canada); and Mackinac Island, MI; concluding in Chicago.

The M/V Victory II will showcase the splendor of the French-Canadian countryside as well as the St. Lawrence River into Lake Ontario and Lake Erie with 10-day itineraries departing on May 28; June 6; July 12, 21, 30; August 8, 17, 26; and October 10. Guests will cruise the Thousand Islands corridor, tour Kingston’s preserved Gothic cathedrals, and explore the region’s many historical monuments for a fascinating adventure. The M/V Victory II will embark or disembark and overnight in Montreal, Quebec, with ports of call in Quebec City, Quebec; Kingston, Ontario; Toronto, Ontario; Port Weller/Niagara Falls; and Cleveland, Ohio; concluding in Detroit.

Fares based on double occupancy begin at $6,385 per person. For additional information and reservations, please contact Victory Cruise Lines at 888-907-2636, visit www.victorycruiselines.com, or call a professional travel agent.
