SkipperBud’s rooted and founded in the Midwest is celebrating a ground breaking for an unparalleled marina complex on Cass Lake in Waterford Michigan.

This week SkipperBud’s will hold a ceremonial ground breaking in Waterford on the site where SkipperBud’s will open a new boat sales and service dealership in the fall of 2018.

Mike Pretasky JR, President of SkipperBud’s will be joined by members of the Waterford Chamber of Commerce, Roncelli Inc., Bowers+Associates, Nowak & Fraus, State and Local officials and many SkipperBud’s vendor partners.

“This event will mark a special day as we officially break ground on the Cass Lake Marina Dealership and become an official member of this community, “ said Mike Pretasky Jr. “This property, once completed, will be a wonderful addition to the boating community and the City of Waterford.”

The building design and construction will be managed by Roncelli Inc. The dealership on Cass Lake will become Oakland County’s premier boating destination. SkipperBud’s Marina complex on Cass Lake will feature a 20,000 square foot showroom for new and used boat sales and brokerage services. Boater’s will have a destination with full service, maintenance and repair, all new floating docks, year-round drystack service and winter storage.

The addition of the new location in Michigan will help support the growing boating market in South East Michigan. This dealership will be SkipperBud’s fifth location in Eastern Michigan. SkipperBud’s is continuing to look for additional marina and boat storage facilities to acquire in Eastern Michigan to further service boaters.
