Crowley’s Yacht Yard hosts the 17th annual free event featuring boating safety and maintenance seminars, hands on instruction, a nautical flea market for charity, music, entertainment, The Tamale Spaceship, and much more. This year the Sierra Sagrada will be on display. Learn about this 20’ canoe and the historic journey it made from the Amazon to Chicago then to Africa and back with Chicago adventurer Francis Brenton at the helm.

Crowley’s has been hosting Yachtapalooza since 2000. This year organizers have slated a full schedule of exciting happenings Crowley’s owner Grant Crowley states “Yachtapalooza has become a rite of spring for Chicago area boaters signaling the end of winter and the start of the boating season. Boaters mark their calendars months in advance in anticipation of this event.”
