Pure Drinking Water Wherever You Go with Rainman

Published: Wednesday, November 2, 2016

The portable Rainman Desalination System watermaker converts salt, brackish and fresh water into pure drinking water.  Whether from a stream or the ocean, the Rainman system is perfect for marine use and is transportable enough to double for use in an RV, for emergency response or preparedness, for off-the-grid living or for military use.

“I was on my 3rd boat and 3rd water maker before I discovered the Rainman system,” explains Joe M., a satisfied customer from West Palm Beach, FL.  “When I bought my 4th boat, I decided to give the Rainman system a try. I’ll never buy another water maker again. Not only will it transfer to my next boat when I upgrade, but at Christmas some friends invited me to sail to the Bahamas. His built-in water maker decided to quit a week before departure. Rainman to the rescue. I put my Rainman system on board and it saved our holiday vacation and my friend was able to put off the costly repair of his system until we returned. It was a Merry Christmas for all.”

The Rainman base unit provides the power and pumping ability to draw source water and then press it through the reverse osmosis membrane. It can draw seawater from up to 6 feet above sea level and pressurizes it up to 800 psi. Only the best quality parts go into Rainman and as much of the unit as possible has been built in stainless steel.

The Rainman system is the 2016 Sail Winner of the Pittman Innovation Award and has an optional pressure washing feature.  With a gasoline powered version, a 115V electric, or the new 12 volt power source, there truly is an option for any lifestyle.
