Keep the “Spirit” of boating alive and introduce a young person to boating ... while you are at it, take a photograph and/or create a 30 second video (maximum length) of you boating with a young person and send it to us for a chance to win special prizes for you and your family and friends.
Top three photographs and videos depicting safe boating practices will win prizes.
The Spirit of America Foundation, providing America’s Premier Youth Boating Education Programs, is proud to host our second annual event this July 1st - 8th, a nationally recognized week dedicated to getting young people on the water in boats.
Rules for entering the event:
- The young person you are boating with must be under 18 years of age.
- All parties on land, dock and water must be wearing a properly fitting United States Coast Guardapproved lifejacket.
- The person at the helm must have a certificate of successful completion of a state or nationally approvedboating education course, if mandated in the state where you boat. (proof of certificate from winners will be requested)

All entries submitted become property of the Spirit of America Foundation and will be used in an appropriate manner to promote youth and community boating by the Spirit of America Foundation. By submitting entries you agree that your photographs and or videos may be used on social media and other print and electronic media resources which Spirit of America Foundation chooses to utilize.
