EZ Docks Bridge The High Water At Boat Show

In Sandusky, Ohio, it was “damn the high water, full speed ahead” for the Progressive Cedar Point Boat Show when EZ-Docks were installed by Cornerstone Landscaping, Inc., to bridge the high water and enable show visitors to access the 300-plus show boats in the Cedar Point Marina.
“Our Diamond Waterfronts group designed the system using EZ-Docks, which we distribute, install, and maintain, to make it dry and convenient for everyone regardless of the water level each day,” said Jeremy Jones, Cornerstone president. “With our EZ-Dock System, we can combine various size modular sections and accessories to create anything from a simple swim platform to an elaborate multiple-slip marina.”
While many events around the Great Lakes have been cancelled this year due to the record high water, the boat show at Cedar Point was never in jeopardy because it is held in a marina with floating docks. But, keeping thousands of show visitors’ feet dry while going from all the land-based displays to the floating marina was the task given to Cornerstone and their versatile EZ-Dock units.

The EZ BoatPort® is a simple and stable drive-on, drive-off method of docking for boats in a wide range of sizes up to 5,000 lbs. Removable and changeable bunks can accommodate hull shapes from flat-bottoms to deep-Vs, making this the perfect choice for boats including skiffs, fishing boats, and jet boats. But EZ-Docks can be installed for almost unlimited commercial applications and personal recreational uses.
This year’s boat show featured over 300 power and sailboats ranging from 60-foot motor yachts down to simple kayaks, for which EZ-Dock introduced its new EZ Launch® System to launch and dock kayaks and canoes.
