Bryan Ralston is New LEMTA President

The Lake Erie Marine Trades Association’s Board of Trustees has chosen Bryan Ralston to lead
the organization as President. The move became effective May 1.

The announcement was made by LEMTA chairman Jim Armington during the recent Catawba
Island Boat Show. “We’re convinced Ralston can lead and energize our organization and the
Ohio boating industry in a period of sustained growth going forward,” said Armington, “and
we’re excited to bring his talents to our operations.”

Ralston joined LEMTA in October, 2015, as Director of Marketing and Sales bringing 13 years
of experience with the Cleveland Cavaliers Operating Company. There he developed successful
marketing and sales programs for the Cavs, the Lake Erie Monsters, the Cleveland Gladiators,
the Canton Charge and the Quicken Loans Arena. His background also includes sales of digital
and print advertising with the Northeast Ohio Media Group for The Plain Dealer, Sun News and

As LEMTA’s President, Ralston will be responsible for all LEMTA operations including the
organization’s four annual boat shows in Ohio and Indiana. They include the Progressive
Cleveland Mid-America Boat Show, the Progressive North American Boat Show at Cedar Point,
the Progressive Michigan City (IN) In-Water Boat Show on Lake Michigan, and the just held
Progressive Catawba Island Spring Boat Show. He’ll also oversee the expansion of association
services and marketing programs for the 100-plus LEMTA-member companies.

A graduate of Ashland University with a Degree in Public Communications and Business
Management, Ralston and his wife Nicole, and their daughter Olivia, reside in Westlake, OH
