2015 Grady-White Express 330 Boasts New Cabin, Helm and Now Optional Exclusive Airview2 (AV2) Hardtop Enclosure

Published: Tuesday, March 10, 2015

“The Express 330 is the most opulent, yet fishable express fisher we’ve tested, and, we think, one of the best riding thanks to Grady’s carefully developed (SeaV2®) hull,” according to a recent highly-respected buyer’s guide report, “…and the luxury starts on the command deck.”

“Reconfigured seating on our 2015 Express 330 allows easier movement around the helm–the social center of the boat–and highlights our ‘surround seating’ helm concept,” remarks Shelley Tubaugh, Grady-White vice president of marketing. “The emphasis really is on enhancing the ‘people aspects’ of this time-tested design. We’ve improved footrests, and added a contoured helm seating option plus even more comfort options for the port and starboard bench seats, and we’ve tweaked every nook and cranny of the helm area.”

The thorough revamp of the command area is perhaps most obviously highlighted by the extensive range of hardtop options, from the sturdy standard hardtop with radio box, storage net, spreader lights, rod holders, low profile acrylic hatch and curtains, to the optional integrated painted aluminum frame helm enclosure with safety glass windshield, to Grady’s exclusive top-of-the-line Airview2™ (AV2™) hardtop enclosure system options. The AV2™ hardtop enclosure includes either an electronically sliding sunroof or a sliding hatch, plus storage net, colored LED spreader lights, eight LED recessed lights, outrigger plates and Clear2Sea™ side curtains. A SureShade® retractable cockpit cover with Sunbrella® canvas is available with all hardtops.

“This boat’s basic design–with the amazing ride of the SeaV2® hull–is and always has been a winner,” says David Neese, Grady-White vice president of engineering, “yet, we are dedicated to continuous improvement and exceptional attention to the details that set our boats apart in the marketplace. This focus means we must and absolutely will make changes to even our best-selling designs, especially to advance with technology and evolving customer wants and needs.”

Neese continues, “We believe we have created a new environment, not only at the helm but throughout the Express 330, while retaining the best of our engineering details. We have taken the design to a new level in the cabin with spectacular new lighting that truly brightens up everything, not to mention new cabinetry and counters in the galley. Appliances are top notch. We’ve added more luxurious interior fabrics that give the cabin an even more elegant look and feel. Throughout this effort we have adopted new technology including the Yamaha Helm Master™ system.”

An outstanding cockpit grill and a cockpit refrigerator are now available. Grady-White believes the new 2015 Express 330 will attract not only new customers to this classic, but also owners of more vintage Express 330 models who will take a brand new look at the exciting changes.

Grady-White has strived to augment what customer surveys confirm that 330 owners like best about the model. “Consistently, customers tell us that the Express 330 is one of the most handsome boat profiles and most winning looks on the water,” says Tubaugh. “We believe that our 2015 graphics updates including those to the hull side, a new windshield profile, as well as several hull color options elevate the look of an already striking boat.”

The Express 330 has always been known as a premiere fishing platform, offering a spacious cockpit with more easily accessed action-centered rod and tackle storage, live bait well capacity compared with many boats that are much bigger and far more costly. The ergonomic improvements at the helm and in the cockpit also enhance the fishing fine points for 2015.

As in every Grady-White, all boxes are true self-bailing, everything draining overboard by force of gravity. The gunwale washdown system makes clean up a breeze. Every inch and every feature aboard the new Express 330 comes with uncompromising quality and reliability for which Grady-White is so well known–all wrapped in the signature elegant Carolina-flare hull with Grady-White’s incomparable and exclusive continuously variable SeaV running bottom for a smooth, dry ride at any speed and superb tracking even in quartering seas. The Express 330 is also unsinkable; no boat in this size has better certified flotation characteristics.

Grady-White produces safe, reliable, superbly engineered sportfishing boats like the Express 330 that offer unparalleled versatility and high function for any water activity from offshore fishing to inshore fishing and family cruising.  Marine Industry Hall of Fame member Eddie Smith and his family have owned the company since 1968.

The Grady-White line-up for 2015 includes 30 models ranging from 18 feet to 37 feet, all with the stellar ride of Grady’s exclusive SeaV hull, and features express cabin, walkaround cabin, center console, coastal explorer and dual console style boats. In addition, Grady-White has won the top customer satisfaction award in their category in every third party survey ever conducted in the marine industry.
