Welcome To The New Maumee Bay!

New management officially took hold of Maumee Bay of Oregon, OH, in February 2018, and since then, we have embarked on many improvements in both renovations and new construction.

The improvements began with the complete remodeling of the dining room and public space areas. Currently, all 120 bathrooms and vanities in our guest rooms are under renovation, which will end with wonderfully updated, modern amenities. There is also new carpet being laid currently throughout the lodge’s public areas.

Coming soon, we will be building a reunion cabin on Lake Erie that sleeps up to 26 guests, and 8-10 small camping cabins that will be located close to the inlet lake in the park.

I would be remiss not to speak of the improvements at the marina, too. Over the winter, the pylons were replaced, making the docks sturdier and safer for boaters, as well as some dredging work, making the area deeper and not an issue for any size of boat. New bumpers are being installed on the docks, and future charges will be by the foot - and not the slip, as was the case in the past.

We are all very excited and can’t wait to show everyone all the amazing changes here at Maumee Bay. Hope everyone has a wonderful summer; I know my staff and I are all looking forward to it!
