Manitou Beach, MI—After a scaled-back 2021 event featuring only ice fishing and a raffle, the Devils and Round Lake Men's Club Tip-Up Festival is ready to rock and roll the first weekend of February. This annual event mostly takes place on the frozen waters of Devils Lake, and a post from the Devils and Round Lake Men's Club says they hope to have enough ice this year to move forward.
The Devils and Round Lake Men's Club is a charitable non-profit, whose purpose is to "help the community with service, leaders, tradition, fellowship, and fun." The club has contributed to their community in a number of ways, including donating laptops to high school students bound for college, purchasing and donating over $8,000 worth of toys to Toys for Tots, and collecting pantry items on behalf of their local Kiwanis Club.
This will be the 70th Tip-Up Festival, and the schedule is packed with activities to mark the occasion. This year, proceeds from their benefit auction are going to benefit their community projects.
