The New Nimbus Eleven Series

Vermilion Yacht Sales is excited to debut the 40' adventure platforms of the new Nimbus 11-series to the Great Lakes! The new T11 center console and C11 cruiser are developments of the successful 30' platform found in the Nimbus 9-series.
Throughout the design process, the Nimbus design team is constantly guided by a single question: “What components make for the best days out on the sea together in great company?” The answer is found in big, flexible socializing spaces with plenty of room to move around, good protection from the sun that covers a large portion of the boat, and several spots to sit or lie back and sunbathe when desired. The answer is also found in plenty of fridge space for storing food and drink, a large bathing platform with room for several people to enjoy a dip at the same time, and finally, in an extra-large, but easily accessible, stowage area for gear and toys.
The T11 is a 12.4-meter-long walk-around with plenty of space for up to 12 people to socialize or take part in activities, while also providing enough room for everyone onboard to face the direction of travel when moving at higher speeds.
“We are seeing a clear trend in boat usage right now which is characterized by more effective utilization over shorter periods of time. This often corresponds to day trips or weekend getaways with an overnight stay, where boat users can relax and have a good time together with their family or friends. The new T11 is designed to meet these needs in
full. It offers multiple opportunities for socializing, relaxation, and activities onboard. There is space for four people to stay overnight in two spacious berths and the boat has been consciously packed with functional features for a superbly comfortable life at sea,” sais Jonas Göthberg, Commercial Manager of Nimbus Boats Sweden AB.
The C11 is designed to easily transport up to nine people fast, protected, and comfortable year-round, regardless of weather conditions. What stands out most is the flexibility of the boat, which gives it more uses.
“Our ambition has been to create a multifunctional, contemporary Commuter that feels natural to use for several activities such as fishing, swimming, socializing, or vacation. It should be just as useful for social contexts in the sun as for transport in rain and cold. Normally, we protect against the weather and wind, but the C11’s saloon can easily be opened in sunny weather and let everyone on board take in and enjoy the light. If there is too much sun, you simply fold out the sun protection or start the air conditioning,” says Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer at Nimbus.
