The Moorings & Sunsail Welcome New Fleet Delivery to British Virgin Islands

In a landmark move for yacht charter enthusiasts, The Moorings and Sunsail, globally recognized as premier yacht charter providers, have announced a substantial expansion of their charter operations in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) to mark the beginning of the 2024 calendar year.
The companies, operating the largest fleet of charter yachts in the BVI, have welcomed 78 new yachts into their ranks. This impressive addition includes 19 monohulls, 35 sailing catamarans, and 24 power catamarans, boasting a combined value of $70 million. This influx brings their combined charter fleet to an impressive 254 yachts, reinforcing their commitment to providing an exceptional sailing experience.

In response to increased demand, The Moorings & Sunsail have also expanded their workforce, with the Marina now employing 300 individuals, making them one of the largest employers in the Virgin Islands.
The British Virgin Islands, often hailed as the "sailing capital of the Caribbean," are experiencing double-digit growth in charter business annually. Improved access, thanks to new direct flights from Miami to Tortola, further adds to the appeal of the destination.
