The prestigious Innovation Awards, evaluated by Boating Writers International (BWI) members, are presented three times annually at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), the Miami International Boat Show, and the Minneapolis Boat Show.

Introducing the first release in the new saltwater piling boat lifts series, the Sunstream Helix line introduces the Helix-P piling lift, blending unparalleled hydraulic speed with an elegant concealed cable lift structure and zero sway. The Helix series offers a refined visual appeal alongside enhanced accessibility, heightened reliability, and safety features, with reduced noise levels and rapid launching and lifting speeds of up to 15 seconds. Notably, there are no visible motors, electrical components, or gearboxes; the low-profile pilings eliminate side beams, enhancing scenic views for a more aesthetically pleasing experience. Additionally, the frame features non-slip striping for safety and an appealing appearance. The absence of sway, coupled with optional Storm Surge Inserts for quick installation, raises boats by an additional 24 inches, providing protection against storms and surges. Furthermore, the elimination of sway mitigates cable fatigue, thus extending the lifespan of cables.
Sunstream has revolutionized hydraulic power systems with the introduction of the Sunstream Power System to fuel the Helix line and other compatible Sunstream products. This innovative system allows for the sharing of a single powerpack among multiple Sunstream lifts or SwiftShield Automatic Boat Cover Systems, offering numerous advantages such as increased power, reduced costs, minimized dock footprint, quicker installation, lower maintenance, heightened performance, enhanced safety, and significantly decreased dock power requirements. Each Sunstream Power System can efficiently power 10 or more Sunstream SPS compatible devices within a range of up to 125 feet, occupying a compact 15-inch by 15-inch footprint to conserve dock space. With the addition of further hydraulic devices, no additional wiring is necessary, streamlining both costs and installation hassle. Moreover, the SPS operates on just 6A/110v power for 10 lifts, a substantial reduction compared to the traditional 30-40A/220v circuit required for each lift, resulting in significantly lower installation and wiring expenses. The SPS ensures enhanced reliability through the utilization of sealed batteries to store energy, enabling customers to operate their lifts and SwiftShields even during power outages. Additionally, these batteries are compatible with solar charging solutions, eliminating the reliance on dock power altogether.
