The extreme conditions of the Great Lakes have always kept us looking for a new extreme boat to carry in our line, one that can handle the vast and typically rough waters around us. As soon as we saw the level of quality Extreme Boats puts into producing these heavy gauge alloy boats, we quickly realized they needed to be here in the Great Lakes – so Parma Marine is proud to now be the first home of New Zealand-based Extreme Boats in the United States.

Extreme Boats is a family-run business, producing New Zealand's premier aluminum boats. Originally designed as saltwater offshore boats capable of handling the rough bar crossings and harsh Pacific conditions around New Zealand and Australia, you can compare any aluminum boat to Extreme and you will see why Extreme is superior to anything else on the market. Extreme Boats feature a Lake Erie chop-smashing deep vee with a very high chine. The reverse chine size and placement provides unmatched stability for any boat in its class, plus Extreme doubled down on stability even further with a flooded center keel. Many customers have been looking for rear fish-ability and confident stability, and that is exactly what Extreme delivers.

Parma Marine and Great Lakes Boats and Brokerage are proud to bring Extreme Boats to the Great Lakes region. Our Extreme show queen is the multi-award winning 795 Walk Around. This boat is 26 feet in length and features a 9-foot, 2.25-inch beam. This walk around is paired with a set of extremely quiet and powerful Evinrude E-TEC G2 150HO outboards. iDock joystick controls make guiding this around the dock extremely easy.

Since 1954, Parma Marine has been selling aluminum fishing boats. After 66 years, we thought we had seen it all. Seeing Extreme has pushed us to challenge the norm. Extreme Boats bring smart innovation and the strongest finish on the market. The 795 hull is made of 5/16-inch thick aluminum plate, and yet it looks like fiberglass – even to the experts.

Along with the 795 Walk Around, there will be a full, hard-enclosed version at the Cleveland Boat Show, too. It has been dubbed the Game King Series by Extreme. This hull has been set up as a true fishing machine. A single 300 HP and 15 kicker will make this your ultimate boat to conquer weather on the Great Lakes. Our season can feel short, but with this Game King, even the most weather-hardened outdoorsman will be spoiled in the early spring and late fall fishing seasons.

Finally, the 24.5-foot 745 Walk Around will round out our initial lineup.

Parma Marine and Great Lakes Boats and Brokerage have broken barriers in order to have the absolute best in the heavy gauge market. Although Extreme was born from New Zealand fishermen, they have all the creature comforts and ride quality of the best fiberglass boats in the U.S. market.

When you purchase your Extreme Boat, you can be sure that you’re investing in a superior boat in style and quality that will stand the test of time.

Extreme Boats will make their U.S. début at the Cleveland Boat Show, January 16-20, 2020, in Parma Marine’s booth – No. 850.
