Beckson Marine offers a solution with their premium plastic hinges, available in standard and offset configurations, These hinges come with interchangeable parts, empowering boat owners to tailor the hinge precisely to their needs for any application.
Beckson hinges are made for durability, using lightweight, injection-molded Delrin® with durable Monel® pins to ensure a life-long service life. Unlike metal counterparts, they are resistant to rust and corrosion, maintaining smooth functionally even in challenging conditions.
Available in lengths of 1-¾”. 3”. 4”, and 6”, the Full Opening Hinge employs a single pin mechanism, facilitating a 180° opening. This enables the hinge to rest flat when folded, making it ideal for hatch covers and lazarettes.
The Offset Hinge from Beckson is available in lengths of 2-1/4", 3-1/2", 4-7/16" and 6-7/16". Featuring two pins with a center connector, it offers a wider opening gap, ideal for accommodating off-level mounting and enabling smooth 270° operation.
With interchangeable parts and a standardized 1-1/2" width, users can easily create personalized configurations of Full Opening and/or Offset Hinges by combining sides of varying lengths. Available in white or black finishes, custom OEM colors are also an option upon request. Suggested retail prices for Beckson Marine Full Opening Hinges range from $7.90 to $12.50 per pair. The Offset Hinges are from $13.90 to $16.90 per pair.
