Marine Tech Concepts, located on Ohio Rt 53 by Cheesehaven and Gregory’s Marine in Port Clinton, Ohio will be expanding for the 2012 season.
Marine Tech Concepts (MTC) specializes in sales and service for the boating market on Catawba Island. The company started with a strong focus in the performance market, servicing boaters between Detroit and Cleveland. Since then they have expanded their sales, servicing a nationwide market for Fishboats, Cruisers and Performance Boats out of the 145 S.E. Catawba Rd location.
In 2010, they took on LARSON boats and represent the complete line from 17 foot runabouts to the 37 foot Cabrio Cruiser! Brokerage is a large part of the company’s operation, with 100 boats listed to choose from. They carry a wide variety of brokerage performance lines for Cigarette, Fountain, Baja, Formula and more. Brokerage for Cruisers and Fishboats include SEA RAY, Pursuit, Formula, and Pro-Line, just to name a few. Stop by their showroom any time for a “welcome home” feeling from the staff!
The NEW LOCATION will now house the service and parts division located at 7130 East Harbor Rd in Lakeside / Marblehead, Ohio. The 9,000 square foot facility will open up this 2012 season. Watch for our GRAND OPENING this April, with a parts store to service Mercruiser, Mercury Outboard and Merc Racing.
A focus will be put on specialty markets for engine refresh programs, re-rigging for dash panels, steering, exhaust systems, stereo systems, air conditioning and fiberglass repairs. The parts store will be located just minutes from Mazuriks Ramp access and will be open on Sundays to their customers! As part of the 2012 expansion, MTC will be working with Northwest Catawba Marina on Catawba Island offering service to the boaters in that area. NWCM offers direct lake access to the Erie Islands with floating docks and rack storage for 300 plus boaters at the facility.
