Tideline is a new name in the fish-boat industry, and the company’s new 19-foot center console should grab the attention of inshore anglers throughout New England. The Tideline 19 is based on a smooth-riding catamaran hull, but can be powered by a single outboard and sports lines that resemble those of a monohull, as well as a stylish bow flare. The 19 is constructed of all-composite materials using advanced resin-infusion techniques to produce a light, strong hull. The boat’s low freeboard allows for easy fish-landing and release duties, while the wide 8’ 4” beam makes for a very stable platform. Draft is just 12”, allowing access to skinny water.
The cockpit features a rear casting deck that contains a 20-gallon live well with plexiglass lid. The well is flanked by 2 jumpseats with storage below. Standard items include a raw-water washdown system, 4 gunwale-mounted rod holders and under-gunwale racks for 4 rods. The helm features a custom leaning post with 4 rod holders and a stainless steering wheel, plus an optional teak helm pod. In the bow, the wide, snag-free casting deck is set up to accommodate a trolling motor and features 2 dry-storage lockers.
The 19 can be powered by a single outboard from 115 to 175 hp. Rigged with a 150-hp Suzuki, the boat cruises at 26 mph at 4000 rpm while burning 4.8 mpg. Top-end is 43 mph at 6000 rpm and a 2.7 mpg burn.
