Corrosion—rusted brakes, frames, axles or other metal surfaces—is the leading cause of trailer failure. While we all know that trailers need to be thoroughly rinsed after use in salt water or on roads treated with de-icing salt, it’s a task that is too easy to put off. Until now, you could use a hose, but with the boat on the trailer it was difficult to get to all the potential trouble spots.

Star Brite’s new Trailer Spa Washdown System Kit makes rinsing the trailer as easy as attaching a garden hose and turning it on. The innovative system (patent pending) uses a network of micro-spray heads to apply water exactly where you need it to go in order to remove salt deposits as well as road grime and dirt. When used with Star Brite Salt Off, it provides the ultimate in corrosion protection. The kit comes with all the parts needed to install a washdown system on any trailer up to three axles in size, as well as a 32 fl. oz. Salt Off and an applicator. The do-it-yourself installation takes about 2 hours, and there is a video on the website to walk you through the process.

The system is not just for boat trailers; it can be installed on any and all types of trailers. To see the Installation Video, log onto www.starbrite.com and enter 77550 in the "Search" box.
