Cutwater rolled out their new C-24 CW (Center Walkaround) at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to great response. The versatility, durability, and performance of Cutwater remains while now available in an open boat configuration.
Packed with standard features and competitively priced, the C-24 CW delivers amazing adaptability. Whether day cruising, fishing, skiing/wakeboarding, diving, or entertaining, this new Cutwater offers the flexibility and features boaters are looking for alongside fast, efficient performance with a unique layout.
Numerous standard features and amenities are sure to please a wide variety of boaters. For fishing, her large, open cockpit has toe rails, tackle and fish storage, a built-in bait cutting/rigging station, two sinks, flush mounted rod holders, as well as rocket launchers on the optional hard top. Garmin GPSMAP942xs MFD/Fishfinder is standard; radar and a screen upgrade are optional. An easy, clear walkway from transom to bow, smooth gunwale surfaces, and fold down cleats keep the action going and prevent lines from snagging. A pull out cooler provides seating and neatly stows out of the way. Fishing options include downrigger plugs and pads, outriggers, a hard top or removable Bimini, and a livewell and raw water washdown.
Fishing is not the only place the Cutwater 24 CW delivers. A convenient cabin with 6’ 2” headroom, private head, sink, storage, seating, and a bunk will be appreciated by all. The marine head is fully plumbed with a holding tank and deck pump out. Flip down transom seating, pull out cooler seating, and forward wrap around seating with a table—that converts to a sun lounge—allows multiple guests to cruise in comfort. Molded in steps from the forward seating area allows convenient access to the port deck for easy boarding even on raised docks. A fusion stereo system will keep things lively as will the optional fridge, electric grill, and an upgrade that includes a subwoofer. For watersports, a concealable ski-tow post raises centerline from the transom for optimal tracking. Rear facing seats and a large swim platform with a stainless-steel retractable swim ladder and grab rails will be appreciated by watersports enthusiasts, swimmers, and divers alike.
“We pride ourselves on the innovation and versatility of our boats,” explained Cutwater Boats’ Vice-President, Jeff Messmer. “The new Cutwater 24 CW provides unparalleled flexibility. Equally suited for fishing, cruising, entertaining, diving, and watersports, you really don’t sacrifice anything. You can do some serious tournament fishing one day and go out for a cruise with friends and family the next. We know our customers enjoy all kinds of activities on the water so we designed the C24 to serve multiple functions, and it does that really well.”
The Cutwater 24 Center Walkaround is powered by a single Yamaha 250HP outboard making it fast, efficient, easy to handle, and fun to drive. The deep V forward and double stepped hull planes quickly and remains agile and controlled underway. Patented laminar flow interrupters provide smooth positive cornering. For additional dockside maneuvering, a bow thruster is an option.
