A celebrated tradition for over 60 years, the Progressive Cleveland Boat Show & Fishing Expo presented by Fisherman's Central is where you can experience your summer fun to come!

Fishing Expo!

An all new Fishing Expo, presented by Fisherman’s Central, is being added to the boat show this year. It’s like two shows in one and now ranks the combined shows among the largest fishing and boating events in the nation. Major tackle and equipment displays from the likes of Fisherman’s Central, Holy Mackeral, Fisherman’s Warehouse and other retailers will keep shoppers busy getting equipped, at special show prices, for next season. But there lots more to this fishing show!

Jamming On Opening Night

Popular Put-in-Bay entertainers Westside Steve and Pat Shepard will headline the live island musical entertainment that will rock the boats on opening night. It’s as much a tradition at the boat show as it is all summer at Put-in-Bay. Jamming to their unique music while sipping a cup of the Boardwalk’s iconic Lobster Bisque is what packs the special Put-in-Bay exhibit area every first night.

Lyman History Comes to Life

Nothing is more telling of the history of Lake Erie pleasure boating than the story of the Lyman Boat Works in Sandusky, and visitors to the boat show will get a genuine taste of this remarkable story.

Lake Erie Shores & Islands
The island atmosphere comes alive at the boat show with a collection of exhibits from favorite islands businesses when the Lake Erie Shores & Islands organization creates a new theme area. It will feature iconic exhibits from Put-in-Bay, Kelley’s Island, and more, plus daily music, drinks, and fresh lobster bisque!
The Sailing Center

For all those who sail with the wind, or think they may want to, the show’s Sailing Center has been expanded this year. Climb aboard sailboats, take part in a hands-on sailing simulator, explore sailing clubs, and attend daily sailing clinics and how-to lessons.

Scuba Anyone?

You don’t have to travel south to get your first lesson in scuba diving because this year’s boat show will again host the popular GO DIVE NOW pool, a 30-foot, 15,000-gallon diving center.

Family Day – Monday, Martin Luther King Day

Make your kid’s day off from school memorable by bringing them to the boat show! An extra day added just for kids, they’ll learn to fish, watch Twiggy the waterskiing squirrel, paint their faces and even meet a mermaid—all while surrounded by their favorite Neverland characters, including Captain Hook and Tinkerbell, in addition to the famous undersea Ariel and a princess or two.
