The cost per participant for CMAC Boat Building programs is $500, however scholarships up to $450 are offered, prior to the start of the program, if registered participants express financial need and submits a short essay on why they wish to participate in the program.

The cost per participant for the CMAC Boating Skills/Marine Ecology program is $250, however scholarships up to $200 are offered, prior to the start of the program, if a registered participant expresses financial need and submits a short essay on why they wish to participate in the program.

About The Event

August 5-17 from 9:00AM - 1:00PM.
Ages 13-17 years old.
There will be room for 16 participants. The program will conclude with the Boat Launch Day on Saturday, Aug. 17th from 9:30 am – Noon at the Canal Street Marina at 2129 S. Canal Street on the South Branch of the Chicago River. Parents, family and friends are welcome to attend and cheer the kids on.
We will build 2 Bevin Skiffs - 16 slots
