Larsen Marine’s 16th Annual Jeanneau Rendezvous was a well-attended event brought together Jeanneau owners throughout the Midwest for a summer celebration. Hosted in different ports on Lake Michigan each year by Larsen Marine, this year’s destination was in beautiful Holland, Mich. at Eldean Shipyard.
A total of 15 Jeanneau sailboats and 40 people braved the rough waters that weekend to attend the festivities. There was plenty of food, fun, and comradery to go around. Friday night, Larsen hosted a welcome cocktail-party for all the sailors and their guests to unwind after a spirited trip in. Plenty of refreshments and appetizers were served to the hungry and thirsty crowd. The conversation lasted well into the night.
After a great breakfast Saturday, Jeff Jorgensen of Jeanneau took the stage and made a presentation of the many new and exciting things going on at Jeanneau including the introduction of two new Sun Odyssey models, the 440 and 490. Jeff also discussed the many industry-first technical advancements being incorporated into every new Jeanneau. Following Jeff’s presentation was a Q & A session with the boaters which was very informative.
That afternoon, some in the group went into town to enjoy the sights and activities while others visited with old friends on the docks, and made some new ones as well. Larsen then hosted a gala dinner in downtown Holland where stories and pictures were shared by all in attendance. With the boaters departing for home or their next stop on Sunday and Monday, another successful Jeanneau Rendezvous came to an end.
