Chris-Craft Debuted Two New Boats at the 2012 Miami International Boat Show
The Launch 32 and the Corsair 36

Sarasota, FL – Chris-Craft introduced the new Launch 32 and Corsair 36 at the 2012 Miami International Boat Show, February, 16th - 20th, 2012 in Miami, Florida. The newest members to the Launch and Corsair series are also the largest of the Chris-Craft luxury fleet. Both boats arrived at the Miami Beach Convention Center undercover; and were unveiled on Thursday, February 16th. This was the first time that the Launch 32 and the Corsair 36 was viewed by the public. Chris-Craft President, Steve Heese spoke on behalf of the Corporation and personally introduced both sister ships exclusively to the Press.
“The Launch 32 is the logical next step for the active boater that still wants a bow rider but also wants the option to overnight at a moment’s notice” said; Chris-Craft President, Steve Heese. This open bow boat offers an ample aft sunbed and even sleeping accommodations and a convenient head in the forward cabin. Sleek proportions and practical configuration make this Launch wellsuited to long excursions but still remains practical for a sunset cruise. Powered by Twin Volvo Penta 5.7L GXi (320hp) engines with Joystick steering.
The Corsair 36 is equipped for all seasons and built to take on offshore waters. The Corsair 36 boasts a generous aft seating area with an electric table that will rise from the floor to cocktail height; and then with a push of a button, extend to full dining height. When finished, it stows virtually undetected electronically lowering into the floor. A new skylight runs the entire length of the forward deck and is flanked by teak appointments to allow for maximum natural light in the forward salon. Powered by Twin Mercury 8.2L (430hp) DTS engines and can reach top speeds of approximately 46-48 mph @ 5,000 rpm.
