Toledo, OH – World Class Yacht Sales, a nationwide brokerage company with nearly 50 locations nationwide, has recently expanded their service area by opening their first office in the Great Lakes.

With the troubled economy on the minds of many boaters lately, there is a perception that “my boat will never sell now.”  To that, the folks at World Class Yacht Sales say, “Think again!”

World Class Yacht Sales was founded over 12 years ago and has grown year over year to become one of Florida’s leading yacht brokerages with over 35 experienced sales executives in nearly every area of Florida.  They have also expanded to New England including Newport, Cape Cod, the Islands and Connecticut as well as offices in Beaufort NC, New Jersey, Annapolis and now in the Great Lakes.

The office is headed up by Captain Dave Werning.  A USCG licensed 100 ton master, Dave has been a Lake Erie boater for nearly two decades.  For the past 4 seasons, he’s worked part-time on the Jet Express boats and can also be seen on the Maumee River in Toledo at the helm of the river tour boat M/V Sandpiper.  In addition to his love of the water, Capt. Dave has had a nearly 30 year career in TV news including winning multiple Emmy awards and is also a licensed helicopter pilot.

In the past ten years, World Class Yacht Sales has sold over 1,000 vessels. Over 80% of their sales were in-house of their own listings! Ten percent were sales of other broker’s boats and less than ten percent were other brokers selling their boats. If you are looking to list with the best brokerage to get results, look no further. They put your vessel IN the market, not ON it!

The brokerage was an early adopter of the web and leverages its technology to reach a global as well as a local market. A recent industry report showed that over 90% of used boat/yacht sales begin online and their deals are as apt to come from around the world as around the corner. With over 70 sales in the past four months alone, they have done many deals within the U.S. and some as diverse as a 48 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge to South America, a 42 Silverton to Australia and a 31 Sea Ray to Hong Kong. In their years in business, the only continent they have not sold a vessel to is Antarctica! The global nature of their advertising proves their superior marketing model.

World Class Yacht Sales Marketing Program:
Our brokerage now loads its clients’ boats up to over 100 web market sites for boats and yachts and there are dozens of others that appear to spider off those. The complete list of the sites we use is proprietary, but the following 20 sites are a representative sample that a prospective client can easily find an example of one of our listings on. If you are considering another broker or are with another broker, you can either search for your own vessel on these sites or you can get an example of the other broker’s boats from them to search for it. Based on just this small sample, the prospective client will be able to satisfy himself that we provide much broader exposure than the vast majority of other brokers do. We have never found another broker who had their boats on every market site that we do.
