Recognized by its home state, Dr. Shrink has been named one of the 2012 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch, an awards program sponsored by the Edward Lowe Foundation and presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business. The premium shrink wrap supplier will be honored at an awards ceremony during the eighth annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business Event, May 3, in Lansing, Michigan.

Michigan 50 Companies to Watch is an awards program that discovers and celebrates the second-stage companies that make an impact in their markets, in their communities, and in the state. The honor is bestowed on companies known for their marketplace performance, innovation, philanthropy, and corporate culture.
Candidates must be privately held, commercial enterprises with the intent and capacity for further growth. Companies must employ between six and 99 full-time equivalent employees and have between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue, including working capital from investors or grants, in the 2011 calendar year. Winners are selected by Michigan-based judges from the banking, economic development, entrepreneurship development, industrial, and venture capital communities.
