First Mate Marine Service was established in 2003 and originally as a mobile marine service. After a short amount of time however, it was realized that to be able to better serve our customers, we needed to set up a shop. We opened a small shop in Harrison Township – aka BoatTown. The small shop served us well over the years, but as our client base grew, it was time to grow with it.
So, here we are: we have relocated!!! The new shop is located at 36257 Jefferson Ave. in Harrison Township, Michigan. We have more than tripled our space and we have increased our capacity to perform more indoor work. This enables us to provide more services at times that have the least amount of impact on your boating schedule, or during the off season.
We will continue to provide mobile service; this is still our greatest demand and makes up approximately 80 percent of our work. Our goal is to provide you with the best services available and we feel that our new location will help provide that to all of our clients.

MAINTENANCE: Tune Ups, Oil Changes, Drive Service, Transmission Service, Seawater Pumps/Impellers
